Happy Birthday Norman!!!

This is my lil brother...well not little anymore, today he is 24.
A medical student who is now busy in local hospital in Semarang [it's not nearby Bandung...if Bandung in West Java, Semarang is in Center Java]
Still single, I guess he's been too busy with his study...or is he too picky hehe...

Talking to him is always nice, since he loves to read [others then those medical latin terms for sure]...

What I have as his bday presents, you asked? well well...just records of Tim Tamashiro and Putumayo series on French Cafe. Those are his type of music. Quite similar with mine.

and of course [in short term] success on your Psychiatric Exam...damn, not easy huh?

Few houses from Petak 15, there is a weird signboard : " Lorong Babi" . We laugh at the funny words in the beginning and follow the direction it shows. We found a newly built kiosk in a dead-end narrow alley. In there, 3 men are selling pork. They were smiling and told us to come in. I asked them if this place is new and they approve. "We are moved here when they (the government) move the old market to the new one across the river" I could see the new market from their stall…across the river. All of you are not joining the others to the new market? "No, this is the location for us" I didn't ask further. It is clear to me. yeah!! we've signed and faxed our 'shake-hand agreement' with KDa as PechaKucha Night organizer in Bandung. currently building up list of presenters for our first volume; to give you brief image of who will be our presenter, here are some sneak preview: Product designer and architect cum senior member of Bikers Brotherhood in Bandung; Architects as lecturer; architect who runs a magazine; socialists architects; Bandung Public Furniture community; Batik Fraktal; Bandung Rapper; Indi Movie Maker; Graphic designers; and many more... it's gonna be a fun night... rolling presentation of 20slides x 20 seconds... this was taken just before we left. Some local staff had left, so here was I, only lady in the party. on my right is the team leader, left is the deputy team leader. My only aim was to finish my leftover tasks from Mr. Koizumi and Mr. Watanabe’s Decree (well it’s Presidential Decree Draft, not his decree..but whatever) I have to transfer some of tasks to other people, since today is my last day. I did that. Eventually, Ibu Itha asked me to accompany Mr. Koizumi (our team leader which I always afraid of) to ASKINDO (Cocoa Association of Indonesia). This was my first time to be with him and in fact my first time to have conversation with him after 10 months working with this study team. I am really grateful that I had that chance. He is an extraordinary humble person with rich experiences in his professional life. Just like the story of his 30 years old leather suitcase that he purchased in Rome and still accompany him everywhere he goes around the globe. He might looks old with his grey...
