candy addiction,
rollercoaster moods,
struggling final work,
supporting family,
graduation...
good friends in Delft,
new friend in Taize,
15 days in Italy,
unbearable goodbyes

new stages in Bandung,
new works...
new life...

playing between black and white...

attempts on decision making,

and again,
life is rolling...giving new chances to play within.

Walk the City, then you will get the soul… ...and you may find more hidden beneath... Filled with otak-otak and es kacang, we continued our walk around Old Muntok. Few houses from Petak 15, there is a weird signboard : " Lorong Babi" . We laugh at the funny words in the beginning and follow the direction it shows. We found a newly built kiosk in a dead-end narrow alley. In there, 3 men are selling pork. They were smiling and told us to come in. I asked them if this place is new and they approve. "We are moved here when they (the government) move the old market to the new one across the river" I could see the new market from their stall…across the river. All of you are not joining the others to the new market? "No, this is the location for us" I didn't ask further. It is clear to me. we are now PechaKucha family

yeah!! we've signed and faxed our 'shake-hand agreement' with KDa as PechaKucha Night organizer in Bandung. currently building up list of presenters for our first volume; to give you brief image of who will be our presenter, here are some sneak preview: Product designer and architect cum senior member of Bikers Brotherhood in Bandung; Architects as lecturer; architect who runs a magazine; socialists architects; Bandung Public Furniture community; Batik Fraktal; Bandung Rapper; Indi Movie Maker; Graphic designers; and many more... it's gonna be a fun night... rolling presentation of 20slides x 20 seconds... (Supposed to be) Last day with JICA Mamminasata

this was taken just before we left. Some local staff had left, so here was I, only lady in the party. on my right is the team leader, left is the deputy team leader. My only aim was to finish my leftover tasks from Mr. Koizumi and Mr. Watanabe’s Decree (well it’s Presidential Decree Draft, not his decree..but whatever) I have to transfer some of tasks to other people, since today is my last day. I did that. Eventually, Ibu Itha asked me to accompany Mr. Koizumi (our team leader which I always afraid of) to ASKINDO (Cocoa Association of Indonesia). This was my first time to be with him and in fact my first time to have conversation with him after 10 months working with this study team. I am really grateful that I had that chance. He is an extraordinary humble person with rich experiences in his professional life. Just like the story of his 30 years old leather suitcase that he purchased in Rome and still accompany him everywhere he goes around the globe. He might looks old with his grey...
